I had Tato for the drum recording of several songs and it was a pleasure to work with him. He brought many new elements to the songs and with his touch he gave the percussions the vibe they needed!
I always look forward to taking music classes with Tato. At first, it was something I felt intimidated by because, well, it's a completely different language. However, over time, it became easier as Tato educates you in a way that is easier to understand and follow. I still have a lot to learn and I know I'm in good hands!

Tato is a great teacher, an incredible musician and a fantastic person. I had the opportunity to take music classes for dancers with him and I highly recommend him. As a singing teacher, I was worried about going back to studying music theory and music theory, which I already studied at the Conservatory, but he managed to give me a lot of new materials to work with and make each class interesting. His relaxed attitude, always with a friendly smile on his face, and his ability to encourage you to explore things you may not feel comfortable with are remarkable.
There are so many things I would love to write, but I can sum them all up in one sentence: take a class with him, then you will be a new dancer/musician/performer!

I'm learning conga music with Tato Sassone and I've also played djembe with him, and my conclusion is that he's a spectacular musician. He has an impressive technique, and I've seen him play absolutely everything that can make a sound 😉: from the drums to the congas, the cajón, and the djembe, and he always amazes me.
